Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Business Development

- Identify and generate new B2B leads through outbound calling, online research, databases, references, and other channels.
- Connect with MSMEs, manufacturers, fabricators, contractors, and corporate buyers to understand their metal procurement requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects within assigned markets/clusters.

Enquiry Management & Sales Conversion

- Handle incoming enquiries and understand customer requirements related to metal type, grade, size, quantity, specification, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to provide competitive quotations to customers.
- Follow up consistently on open enquiries and quotations to drive conversions.
- Negotiate with customers and close deals while maintaining company pricing and commercial guidelines.

Customer Relationship Management

- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular communication and proactive follow-ups.
- Understand customer procurement patterns and identify opportunities for repeat orders, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Ensure timely communication and resolution of customer queries throughout the sales process.

Sales Coordination & Execution

- Coordinate with Outside Sales, Procurement, Operations,



and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
- Track enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and conversions using the company's CRM/sales tracking systems.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, requirements, and sales pipeline.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling, enquiry, and revenue targets.

Market Intelligence

- Research and identify potential customers, industries, and companies with regular metal procurement requirements.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activity, and pricing movements to identify new business opportunities.

Pre-requisites

- 0–3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Telesales, Business Development, or B2B Sales.
- Experience in industrial, metal, manufacturing, construction, or B2B sectors will be an added advantage.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with a technical background, B.E. (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and handling regular customer follow-ups.
- Strong willingness to work in a target-driven sales environment.
- Ability to work closely with field sales and cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹180,000.00 per year
