Designation: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding Division): -
Minimum Experience: 3 years in Freight Forwarding Industry
Minimum Education Requirement: B.Com from a Government recognised University

Job Description:

1) Customer Coordination:

- Receive and process customer shipment requests.
- Understand shipment requirements, timelines, and special instructions.
- Provide regular updates on shipment status.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and complaints.

2) Shipment Booking & Documentation:

- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents for booking confirmation.
- Check shipping instructions and required documents.
- Coordinate invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, Bills of Lading/AWBs, COOs, and other relevant documents.
- Track shipments from booking until final delivery.
- Monitor vessel/flight schedules, transshipment, arrival, and delivery status.
- - Inform customers about delays, rollovers, vessel changes, or other exceptions.

3) Operations Coordination:





- Coordinate with the operations team for cargo pickup, transportation, customs clearance, CFS/warehouse movement, stuffing, and delivery.
- Ensure activities are completed as per agreed timelines and follow up on pending items.

4) Freight & Cost Coordination:

- Verify customer-specific rates before confirming shipments.
- Monitor Proof of Delivery (POD) and update customers accordingly.
- Escalate critical issues to the concerned department or manager.

5) MIS & Reporting:

- Maintain shipment trackers and customer-specific reports.
- Prepare daily status reports.

6) Billing & Documentation Support:

- Coordinate with the billing/accounts team for timely invoicing.
- Verify that agreed charges are correctly captured.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
