# Job Description – Cost Accountant

**Position:** Cost Accountant

**Industry:** Packaging Manufacturing –

**Location:** Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh

**Experience:** 3+ Years

**Salary:** ₹30–35k per month

### Job Responsibilities

* Manage **cost accounting, costing, budgeting and financial analysis** for manufacturing operations.

* Prepare and analyze **product costing, standard costing and variance reports**.

* Monitor **raw material, production, labour and overhead costs**.

* Analyze manufacturing costs and identify areas for **cost reduction and process improvement**.

* Prepare **MIS reports, cost sheets, profitability analysis and management reports**.

* Handle **inventory valuation, stock reconciliation and consumption analysis**.

* Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores and Finance teams for accurate costing.

* Support **budgeting, forecasting and monthly/annual financial planning**.

* Ensure proper accounting of manufacturing expenses and maintain accurate cost records.

* Assist in **internal/external audits, statutory compliance and financial reporting**.





* Identify cost variances and provide actionable insights to management.
