CSSD Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CSSD Technician to join our hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, packing, and safe distribution of medical and surgical instruments.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform cleaning, decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Operate and monitor autoclaves and other sterilization equipment.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, and storage of sterile items.
- Maintain CSSD records, sterilization logs, and documentation.
- Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols.
- Ensure timely availability of sterile instruments to OT and other departments.




- Check sterilization indicators and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the CSSD area.
- Coordinate with OT, nursing, and other clinical departments as required.

Eligibility

- Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in CSSD Technician or relevant healthcare field.
- Experience: 2– 8 years of relevant CSSD experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and handling of surgical instruments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
