Chennai Full time R000109965 **Job Description:** Job Requirement - Data Platform Administrator Position Summary We are seeking an Data Platform Administrator to support and manage Data & Analytics platforms with primary focus on **Databricks** and **Fivetran** . The role will be responsible for platform administration, production support, user onboarding, security administration, monitoring, incident management, and platform reliability. Key Responsibilities Databricks Platform Administration + Administer Databricks workspaces across Development, Non-Production, Pre-Production, and Production environments. + Manage cluster policies, SQL Warehouses, Jobs, Workflows, and workspace configurations. + Administer Unity Catalog, catalogs, schemas, tables, external locations, and storage credentials. + Manage user provisioning, group administration, and role-based access control. + Support platform upgrades,and environment configuration. + Monitor platform health, performance, utilization, and cost optimization. Fivetran Administration + Administer Fivetran SaaS and HVR environments. + Configure and manage connectors, destinations, schedules, and transformations. + Monitor connector health, pipeline failures, replication latency, and data freshness. + Troubleshoot ingestion failures and coordinate resolution with source system teams. + Support onboarding of new data sources and destinations. Platform Operations & Support + Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents and service requests. + Participate in on-call support and incident management processes.



+ Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. + Monitor platform SLAs, job failures, infrastructure alerts, and service health. + Manage operational runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles. + Coordinate maintenance activities and release deployments. Security & Governance + Ensure compliance with organizational security standards. + Support audit requests and evidence collection. + Monitor and remediate access and security-related issues. Automation & Continuous Improvement + Develop operational automation using Python, SQL, APIs, or scripting tools. + Automate platform monitoring and alerting. + Identify opportunities to improve platform stability, operational efficiency, and user experience. + Contribute to documentation and operational best practices.
