Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Graduate Architect role based in Kolkata. The Graduate Architect will support concept development, schematic design, and detailed architectural drawings under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include preparing 2D and 3D design presentations, assisting in preparation of construction documents, and coordinating design information with consultants and contractors. The role also involves conducting site visits, collecting and organizing project data, and contributing to design reviews and client presentations.
The Graduate Architect will collaborate with the project team to ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are maintained throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and visual presentations.
- Working knowledge of relevant software tools and basic Software Development or Integration awareness for design workflows (e.g., CAD/BIM, visualization tools).
- Ability to support Project Management activities, including organizing documentation, tracking progress, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; eligibility or intent to pursue professional registration is an advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite) and strong digital literacy.
- Good understanding of building codes, local regulations, and basic construction techniques relevant to Indian practice.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and participate in occasional site visits and client meetings as required.
