ServiceNow CTA / Technical Architect – Chennai - HYBRID

Role: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect / ServiceNow Platform Architect

Experience 8–12+ years overall IT experience is common for senior architect roles.

Around 5–8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.

Experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.

Strong client-facing consulting and architecture experience.

Key responsibilities

- Own end-to-end ServiceNow technical architecture.
- Define platform architecture, roadmap, governance and technical standards.
- Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Design HLD/LLD, data architecture, integration architecture and security models.
- Define instance strategy, upgrade strategy and customization approach.
- Lead architecture reviews and guide developers/technical teams.
- Drive platform modernization, technical-debt reduction and best practices.
- Work with senior/C-level stakeholders and conduct architecture workshops.
- Support presales, solutioning,



RFPs and proposals where required.

Architecture expertise expected

A CTA-level candidate should be comfortable explaining:

- CMDB architecture & CSDM
- Data model and data migration
- Discovery and Service Mapping
- Integration patterns
- Security / ACL architecture
- Domain separation
- Instance strategy
- Upgrade-secure customization
- Performance and scalability
- DevOps / CI-CD
- ATF
- Governance and coding standards
- Enterprise architecture
- Now Assist / AI capabilities

Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – mandatory for some roles
- CSA – Certified System Administrator
- CAD – Certified Application Developer
- CIS certifications in relevant modules
- ITIL is often useful
- CMA – Certified Master Architect can be an alternative/preferred credential for some senior roles.
