Job Description:

- 3 8 years of hands on experience in Teradata Development
- Strong knowledge of Teradata SQL
- Good experience in complex SQL queries joins subqueries CTEs and analytical window functions
- Solid understanding of Teradata database architecture
- Experience with Teradata Utilities BTEQ FastLoad MultiLoad TPump and FastExport
- Experience in ETL development and data warehouse concepts
- Good understanding of Fact and Dimension tables
- Knowledge of Star Snowflake schema
- Experience with Stored Procedures Macros and Views
- Knowledge of Primary Index Secondary Index Partitioning and Statistics
- Experience in query performance tuning
- Ability to analyze Explain plans and optimize SQL queries
- Experience with Unix Linux shell scripting
- Good understanding of batch jobs and scheduling
- Experience in production support troubleshooting and defect resolution
