Role Summary:

Manage and optimize the Snowflake data platform, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable operation. Responsibilities include user and role management, platform-level configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and supporting automated workflows and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer Snowflake accounts, roles, users, and access control using RBAC best practices
- Configure and monitor warehouses, resource monitors, query performance, and usage
- Maintain Tasks, Streams, Stored Procedures, and Snowflake Functions for automation
- Implement data security, masking, and row access policies
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices with version control and automated deployments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and report on platform performance and audit compliance





Minimum Requirements:

- 5-6 years in data platform administration, 3+ years focused on Snowflake
- Expertise in user and role management, access control, and Snowflake security models
- Hands-on experience with Tasks, Streams, Stored Procedures, and Snowflake Functions
- Robust SQL and scripting skills for automation
- Familiarity with cloud platform integration (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Terraform, CI/CD)
- Knowledge of performance tuning, query profiling, warehouse optimization, and monitoring
