- Generate designs which meets customer specifications and offers safe and reliable/robust design which is easy to manufacture/operate and maintain.
- Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety and functionality are met in
- accordance with the customer requirements and current legislation.
- Participate and lead troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with manufacturing, suppliers on product technical issues.

The essential requirements of the job include:

- Good understanding of design for manual assembly and batch manufacturing and error proofing.
- Valuable knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding / casting and sealing mechanisms .
- Ability to multi-task
- Very good communication in English and Hindi
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in in a relevant discipline.
