Job Summary

We are seeking skilled PHP Developers to join our team for a critical legacy application migration project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with legacy PHP codebases and a passion for modernizing applications using up-to-date frameworks and best practices. You will play a key role in re-engineering our application stack for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and understand the structure and business logic of the legacy PHP application.
- Work on migrating and refactoring legacy modules to modern PHP frameworks.
- Ensure that the migrated application retains feature parity and performance.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA teams to define migration strategies.
- Write clean, effective, and well-documented code that adheres to modern standards.
- Troubleshoot issues arising during the migration process.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-migration stabilization.

Required Skills

- 37 years of hands-on PHP development experience.




- Strong knowledge of core PHP and experience dealing with legacy PHP codebases.
- Proficiency in at least one modern PHP framework such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, especially MySQL.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture, REST APIs, and version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in legacy application modernization projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Nice to Have

- Experience in microservices design or service-oriented architectures.
- Knowledge of secure coding and performance optimization techniques.
