About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing development team in a FinTech/Product-based environment. This position is with the world's second-largest crypto company and requires expertise in Java, Golang, and Python, along with a strong background in developing scalable financial applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking, compliance workflows (KYC/KYB), and transaction monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10–25 software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Architect, design, and oversee the development of high-performance, scalable applications using Golang (3+ years), Java (7+ years), and Python.
- Ensure robust code deployment, maintenance, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, security, and compliance, to build seamless KYC/KYB, identity verification, and compliance integrations.
- Drive technical strategy, best practices, and innovation within the development team.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain high standards for software quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Java (7+ years) and Golang (3+ years).
- At least 4 years of experience in a management role,



leading engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a high-pressure workplace.
- Experience in leading teams within top-tier BFSI or FinTech product companies (e.g., Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, JPMorgan Chase, AMEX, Wells Fargo, UBS, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience building Compliance workflows such as KYC/KYB, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Customer Onboarding, Identity Platforms.
- Knowledge of KYT (Transaction Monitoring), Travel Rule Compliance, or integrations with compliance solutions.
- Experience with microservices architecture and modern development frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of API development, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.

Additional Requirements:

- People Management Experience: 5+ years
- Overall IT Experience: 13–22 years
- Team Stability: Maximum two job changes between 2019–2025.
- Work Location: Bangalore (on-site role)
