Job Summary:

We are hiring a Service Manager for HVAC Projects for a leading manufacturing / engineering company in Guindy, Chennai. The ideal candidate will oversee HVAC project execution, service operations, AMC, breakdown service and client coordination to ensure timely delivery and quality service. Must have handled team + clients + AMC in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor HVAC installation and service projects from start to finish - Scheduling, resource planning, site execution

2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians, service engineers, supervisors and service staff - Team of 15-25 members - Productivity and training

3. Client Coordination: Act as SPOC for clients, handle site visits, understand requirements, and resolve service issues - Client retention and satisfaction

4. Quality & Compliance: Ensure all projects meet safety standards, ISHRAE standards, quality norms, and deadlines - No compromise on quality and safety

5. Service Operations: Manage AMC - Annual Maintenance Contract, breakdown service, preventive maintenance PPM for HVAC systems - VRF, Chilled Water, AHU, FCU

6. Reporting: Prepare project reports, service reports, cost estimates, AMC profitability and progress updates for management - MIS reporting

7. Vendor Management:



Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for materials, spare parts and manpower - Negotiation and cost control

Requirements - Mandatory:

- Experience: 10-15 years in HVAC Projects and Service Management - Must have handled both Projects + Service - Commercial / Industrial / Manufacturing clients

- Education: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred - B.E / http://B.Tech Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical

- Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems - VRF, Chilled Water System, AHU, FCU, Ducting, Ventilation, HVAC service, AMC, PPM, breakdown troubleshooting, project execution, team handling, and client management

- Other: Positive communication skills, client handling skills, willing to travel to project sites in Chennai - Two wheeler / Four wheeler must - Must be in Chennai
