Job Summary:

We are hiring a Senior Operations Executive with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations for our Andheri East, Mumbai branch. You will manage end-to-end shipment execution for air / sea freight, ensure documentation accuracy, coordinate with carriers / agents, and lead a team to meet client SLAs and cost targets. Must have handled Air + Sea operations independently in Mumbai market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Freight Operations: Handle import / export shipments via Air & Sea - FCL, LCL, Airfreight. Coordinate booking, pickup, customs - JNPT / Nhava Sheva / Air Cargo, and delivery - End to end file handling

2. Documentation: Prepare & verify BL, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, S/B, BOE, Checklist. Ensure DGFT, customs, and DG compliance - Zero error documentation

3. Carrier & Agent Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, CHAs, transporters, and overseas agents for rates, space, and shipment status - Rate negotiation - Mumbai shipping lines

4. Client Servicing: Act as primary POC for key accounts. Update clients on shipment milestones, resolve exceptions,



and handle escalations - Client retention - Mumbai clients

5. Team Supervision: Guide junior executives and documentation staff. Allocate work, review files, and train team on processes / SOPs - Lead team of 3-5 members

6. Cost & Billing: Check freight costs, vendor invoices, and raise customer invoices with correct margins. Support credit control team - Profitability check

7. Tracking & Reporting: Update shipment status in system / Excel, send daily reports to clients, and maintain KPI dashboards for management - Daily MIS

8. Compliance: Ensure adherence to GST, E-way bill, SEZ / FTWZ norms, JNPT / Air Cargo customs, and company SOPs. Handle customs queries and audits

Key Requirements - Mandatory:

- Experience: 8-10 years in freight forwarding, CHA, or 3PL company in Mumbai. Must have handled Air + Sea operations independently - End to end file must - JNPT + Air Cargo must

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Incoterms 2020, HS codes, customs procedures, and trade documentation - Import + Export must

- Systems: Hands-on with logistics ERP like CargoWise, Logi-Sys, Softlink, or similar. MS Excel proficiency mandatory - VLOOKUP, Pivot must

- Skills: Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking ability under tight deadlines - Can handle 15-20 files at a time

- Communication: Fluent in English, Hindi & Marathi preferred. Strong email and client communication skills - Client facing role





- Education: Graduate minimum. Diploma in Logistics / Shipping / IATA FIATA preferred - Plus point

- Other: Should be willing to work extended hours during shipment peaks. Located near Andheri East / Chakala / SEEPZ / Airport Road preferred - Andheri, Bandra, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Powai, Borivali candidates can apply
