Job Summary:

We are a leading company in the Maritime industry based in Royapet, Chennai looking for a confident Inside Sales Executive for International Calling. You will be handling global clients in shipping, logistics and maritime sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Make international outbound calls to prospects in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding and maritime sectors

- Generate leads, do regular follow up and convert inquiries into sales

- Understand client requirements and explain our maritime services and products

- Update CRM daily with call logs, client details and sales activities

- Coordinate with operations and support teams for quotations, proposals and order processing

- Build and maintain long term relationships with international clients

- Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs

- Do market research on competitors, market trends and new opportunities in maritime industry

- Prepare daily and weekly sales reports for management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 1 to 2 years experience in Inside Sales, Tele Sales, International Sales with International Calling is mandatory

- Experience in Maritime, Shipping, Logistics,



Freight Forwarding, Ship Chandling, Marine Services will be a big plus

- Excellent English communication - both verbal and written, neutral accent preferred

- Graduate in any discipline

- Good in MS Office, Excel, CRM tools and calling software

- Basic knowledge of maritime terms and global time zones is an advantage

- Target driven, persuasive and customer focused

- Willing to work in rotational shifts / night shifts to match US / Europe time zones

- Must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate to Royapet, Chennai

Preferred:

- Experience in B2B International Sales

- Experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics sales

- Candidates from Royapet, Mylapore, Triplicane, Chennai Central nearby areas preferred
