Salary: Rs. 20000 to Rs. 25000 per month + Incentives + Benefits

Job Summary:

We are a leading garments manufacturing company in Chetpet, Chennai looking for a dynamic Junior Merchandiser to support our merchandising team. This is a excellent entry level opportunity for candidates who want to build a career in apparel, textile and export industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with buyers, production team and factory for smooth order execution

- Follow up on fabric, trims and accessories sourcing and ensure on time delivery

- Prepare cost sheets, tech packs, order sheets and other merchandising documents

- Track production status daily and ensure quality standards are maintained

- Communicate with vendors, suppliers and buyers for updates and approvals

- Assist senior merchandiser in sampling, costing and shipment documentation

- Maintain daily records of orders, shipments and buyer communications in Excel

- Ensure all orders are delivered as per buyer timelines and requirements

- Visit factory when required for sample checking and production follow up

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 0 to 2 years experience in garment merchandising. Freshers with textile / apparel internship welcome





- Graduate in any discipline. Diploma or Degree in Textile, Apparel, Fashion Technology, Fashion Designing preferred

- Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims and production process

- Good in MS Excel, MS Word and email communication

- Good communication in English and Tamil

- Organized, detail oriented and can work under tight deadlines

- Willing to visit factory and do sample coordination

- Must be based in Chennai or willing to work from Chetpet, Chennai

Preferred but Not Mandatory:

- Exposure to export houses, buying houses or garment manufacturing units

- Knowledge of ERP systems used in apparel industry like WFX, Fast React, etc.

- Candidates from Chetpet, Egmore, Kilpauk, Nungambakkam, Chennai nearby areas preferred
