About the Role

AVGC Studios is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, transitions, and editing techniques, with the ability to create engaging content for digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, campaigns, and digital content.
- Create engaging Reels, promotional videos, brand content, and creative videos.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, text, sound effects, music, and basic VFX as required.
- Work closely with the creative and content teams to understand briefs and deliver high-quality videos.
- Ensure consistency in visual style, branding, and storytelling.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently.
- Keep up with current video editing trends and social media formats.

Required Skills





- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good working knowledge of After Effects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, and sound.
- Knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
- Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- A robust portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with motion graphics and animation.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Experience editing Reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, or branded content.
- Interest in AI-powered creative and video-generation tools.
