Job Title: Industrial Automation Engineer – PCS7Location: Mumbai (Head Office)Department: Engineering / AutomationEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TIA Portal, PCS 7, WinCC platforms, and industrial communication protocols, along with a solid understanding of process control and instrumentation.Key Responsibilities:PLC, SCADA & HMI Development:Design, develop, and program automation systems using Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400, S7-1200/1500, PCS 7) with knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), FBD, and CFC.Develop SCADA and HMI applications using WinCC Classic, WinCC Professional, WinCC Unified, and Basic/Comfort HMI panels.Industrial Communication & Integration:Configure and integrate field devices and systems using Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and OPC UA.Troubleshoot and resolve communication and device integration issues across control networks.Process Automation & Control:Implement and optimize PID control loops, batch processing logic,



and instrument calibration.Collaborate with process and instrumentation teams to ensure control strategies align with plant operations.Project Execution & Documentation:Lead and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).Prepare and review technical documentation, including control philosophy, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and validation reports.Conduct risk assessments, manage in office commissioning, and provide post-installation support.Required Skills & Experience:PLC Platforms: Siemens S7 ((phone hidden)/1500), TIA Portal, PCS 7SCADA & HMI: WinCC Classic, Professional, Unified; Basic/Comfort HMIProgramming Languages: Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram (FBD), CFCIndustrial Protocols: Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IPProcess Knowledge: PID Control, Batch Logic, InstrumentationTools: TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, WinCC Engineering, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (preferred)Soft Skills:Strong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExcellent documentation and reporting abilityGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and within project teamsStrong focus on quality, safety, and compliancePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering3+ years of experience in Siemens-based industrial automation projectsExperience across sectors like pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, chemicals, or utilitiesSiemens certification (TIA Portal / PCS 7 / WinCC) is a plus
