Job Title: Demand Planning Analyst / Senior Analyst – o9 Solutions Location: Bangalore, India
Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Demand Planning Analyst with hands-on experience in o9 Solutions platform to join our Supply Chain Planning team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in demand forecasting, supply chain planning processes, and experience implementing or supporting o9 Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to enhance forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory, and drive planning excellence. Key Responsibilities 1. Demand Planning & Forecasting Develop, maintain, and improve statistical demand forecasts using o9 platform. Analyze historical sales data, trends, seasonality, and promotional impacts. Conduct forecast accuracy measurement (MAPE, Bias, etc.) and identify improvement opportunities. Manage forecast lifecycle including baseline, promotional, and consensus forecasts. Support S&OP; / IBP cycles with insights and reporting. 2. o9 Platform Configuration & Support Configure and maintain demand planning modules within o9. Build and manage data models, hierarchies, measures, and workflows. Develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytics reports within o9. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with technical teams. Participate in o9 enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. 3. Data & Analytics Perform root cause analysis for forecast deviations. Leverage advanced analytics to improve demand sensing and forecasting. Ensure data integrity and validation across systems. Work with large datasets using Excel, SQL, or other reporting tools. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration Facilitate demand review meetings with Sales and Marketing teams. Align forecast assumptions with business strategies.



Coordinate with supply planning teams to resolve demand-supply mismatches. Communicate insights and risks to senior leadership. 5. Process Improvement Drive automation and standardization of planning processes. Support digital transformation initiatives in supply chain planning. Document business processes and SOPs. Required Skills & Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field. MBA (Operations / Supply Chain) preferred. Experience 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning / Supply Chain Planning. Hands-on experience with o9 Solutions (Demand Planning / IBP module). Experience in implementation or support projects preferred. Exposure to S&OP; / IBP processes. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques and statistical models. Hands-on experience in o9 configuration (measures, dimensions, workflows, dashboards). Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Power BI (preferred). Understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in cross-functional and fast-paced environments. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Preferred Experience Experience in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or Pharma industry. Experience in global supply chain environments. Knowledge of data integration tools and cloud platforms. Certification in o9 or supply chain planning (APICS CPIM preferred).
