Role & Responsibilities
Lead fund accounting operations for private debt funds, ensuring accurate NAVs,
investor reporting, capital activity processing, financial statement preparation, and
audit support while managing a team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting
Review P&L; and approve NAV and fee calculations
Review loan accruals, interest income, fee income and realized/unrealized gains.
Oversee fund-level accounting and period-end close.
Review complex journal entries and reconciliations.
Investor Reporting
Review capital calls and distribution calculations.
Prepare LP statements and carried interest calculations
Review waterfall calculations.
Calculate IRR, MOIC and other important investor reporting ratios.
Manage audit requests.
Drive SOX/control compliance.
Implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Manage stakeholder communications.
Review work allocation and productivity.
Private Debt / Private Credit / PE Fund Accounting.
Geneva, Investran, Yardi or similar platforms
Strong understanding of relevant accounting standards and investment fund
reporting.
Solid excel skills
