URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT SURGICAL GASTROENTEROLOGIST

Location: Khammam, Telangana

POSITION

Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist

QUALIFICATION

• MCh / DrNB Surgical Gastroenterology

• MS / DNB General Surgery with relevant advanced training may also be considered

• Valid NMC / Telangana Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Strong hands-on experience in GI and hepatobiliary surgical procedures will be given preference

SALARY

₹4.5 Lakhs – ₹6.5 Lakhs per Month

• Negotiable based on qualification, experience and surgical expertise

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Surgical Gastroenterology OPD consultations

• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgical conditions

• Perform elective and emergency GI surgeries as per expertise

• Perform laparoscopic and open GI procedures

• Manage conditions involving the stomach, intestine, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and biliary tract

• Evaluate patients for appropriate surgical intervention

• Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative care

• Manage surgical emergencies and post-operative complications

• Review and correlate relevant imaging and diagnostic investigations

• Coordinate with Gastroenterologists, Radiologists, Anaesthesiologists,



Intensivists and other specialists

• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgery, risks and follow-up

• Maintain accurate clinical records, operative notes and discharge summaries

• Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per hospital requirements

• Follow hospital, infection-control, patient-safety and clinical protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong clinical and surgical expertise in Gastrointestinal Surgery

• Good laparoscopic and open surgical skills

• Solid decision-making and emergency surgical management abilities

• Good patient counselling and communication skills

• Ability to manage complex GI surgical cases

• Professional, ethical and patient-centric approach
