Job Description Chandigarh University is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Admissions to lead a high-performing counselling and admissions team.
N nThe role will be responsible for driving student enrolments and counselling operations , while managing and developing a team of Admission Counsellors / Team Leaders.
N nThe ideal candidate should have strong experience in admissions counselling, tele-sales, team management preferably within Education or EdTech.
N nKey Responsibilities

- Lead, manage and mentor a team of Admission Counsellors / Team Leaders . N
- Monitor key metrics including calls, connect ratio, lead conversion, counselling, enrolments, revenue and productivity . N
- Set daily/weekly/monthly targets and ensure achievement through effective team management. N
- Monitor CRM usage, leadallocation, follow-ups and data hygiene. N
- Improve counselling scripts, objection handling, follow-up mechanisms and closure techniques. N
- Identify underperforming team members and implement performance improvement plans. N
- Coordinate with Marketing,



Operations, Finance and Academic teams to ensure smooth admissions. N
- Ensure a high-quality student/parent experience throughout the admission journey. N

n nCandidate Profile

- n
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. N
- 6+ years of overall experience in Education, EdTech or related functions. N
- Minimum 2–3 years ofteam-management experience . N
- Proven experience managing a sizeable counselling/Counselor team. N
- Strong track record of achieving admission, enrolment. N
- Experience working withCRM systems and sales dashboards. N
- Solid analytical, communication, negotiation and people-management skills. N
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, target-driven environment. N
