About the Role

The TGT Social Studies position involves teaching various Social Studies subjects to students, ensuring they receive a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum.

/n

Responsibilities

/n

/n
- Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics to students.
/n
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
/n
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity-based learning.
/n
- Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance.
/n
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
/n
- Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth.
/n
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills,



and civic awareness among students.
/n
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
/n
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities.
/n
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes.

Qualifications

/n

/n
- Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline.
/n
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
/n
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred.
/n
- Robust subject knowledge and communication skills.
/n
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
