The candidate should have solid practical knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning chemicals and their applications, including chemical dilution, safe handling, storage, MSDS/SDS and their effect on different surfaces. Good working knowledge of mechanized cleaning equipment such as single-disc machines, scrubber-dryers, vacuum cleaners, wet & dry vacuum cleaners, high-pressure machines and carpet extraction machines is also essential. The candidate should be capable of ensuring the correct and safe use of chemicals and machines, training housekeeping staff on their operation, monitoring equipment condition and chemical consumption, and maintaining required safety, hygiene and quality standards
