Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in moving between departments, wards, and diagnostic areas.
- Support nursing and other hospital staff in day-to-day patient care activities.
- Assist in shifting patients using wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Transport documents, samples, medicines, and other hospital materials as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of assigned areas.
- Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer activities.
- Drive hospital vehicles when required and ensure secure transportation.
- Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and operational guidelines.
- Perform other duties assigned by the department supervisor.
Eligibility
- Minimum qualification: 10th Pass / Plus Two.
- Valid Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Previous experience as a Hospital Attender, Ward Boy, Patient Care Assistant, or similar role will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle patient-support activities.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to work in shifts.
