About the Role

SMPL is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Team Lead to manage the inside sales team, drive lead conversion and achieve sales targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong team-handling, customer management and sales conversion skills and be comfortable working in a target-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and motivate the Inside Sales / Tele Sales team.
- Monitor daily calls, leads, follow-ups and conversions.
- Allocate leads and ensure timely follow-up.
- Guide team members on customer handling, product pitching and sales conversion.
- Set and monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Track individual and team performance.
- Support the team in handling difficult customers and closing sales.
- Maintain the sales pipeline and ensure proper lead management.
- Coordinate with field sales, warehouse, purchase and other teams for smooth order processing.
- Maintain sales reports, MIS and customer records.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
- Identify gaps in the sales process and implement improvements.

Candidate Profile

- 36 years of experience in Inside Sales / Telesales / Sales Team Handling.




- Previous experience as a Team Lead / Senior Sales Executive / Sales Supervisor will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and convincing skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Good customer handling and relationship management skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM and sales reporting.
- Target-oriented, proactive and confident personality.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in the following industries will be preferred:

Building Materials | Tiles | Sanitaryware | Furniture | Interior Products | Electrical | Hardware | Home Improvement | Home Appliances | Consumer Durables | Retail

Candidates from other sales/tele-sales industries with strong team-handling and sales-conversion experience are also welcome to apply.
