Position: Purchase Executive
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electronics &
Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a
related field.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with potential
vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable procurement
network.
Source quotations, compare offers, and negotiate pricing,
commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements to
achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions.
Generate and maintain purchase orders, invoices, procurement
reports, and other relevant documentation in accordance with
company procedures.
Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure the timely delivery
of materials, equipment, and services.
Ensure that all purchased products and services meet the
required quality standards and specifications.
Coordinate with internal departments, including warehouse,
logistics, finance, and operations teams, to support
procurement activities and ensure smooth supply chain
operations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery schedules,
supplier performance, invoices, and inventory transactions
within internal systems and databases.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement activities to
prevent stock shortages and ensure uninterrupted business
operations.
Review and resolve issues related to product quality, delivery
discrepancies, supplier performance, and customer complaints
in a timely manner.
Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost
analyses, savings initiatives, supplier evaluations, and key
performance indicators (KPIs).
Implement, monitor, and report procurement metrics, Service
Level Agreements (SLAs), and continuous improvement
initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of procured
materials through effective coordination with warehouse
personnel.
Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, current
products, and emerging technologies by attending trade shows,
exhibitions, supplier meetings, and industry events.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procurement
procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Procurement
Management Systems.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-
paced environment.
Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management,
and supply chain operations.
