Role & responsibilities

Store & Inventory Management

- Manage inventory of machine spare parts, cutting tools, consumables, jigs, fixtures, and related engineering materials.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through ERP/SAP and maintain real-time stock records.
- Implement and maintain FIFO (First In First Out) / FEFO (First Expire First Out) methodologies.
- Ensure complete material traceability and stock accountability.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder points to avoid stock shortages.
- Manage multiple store locations and ensure smooth store operations.

ERP, SAP & Documentation

- Perform inventory transactions through ERP/SAP systems.
- Maintain all store-related documentation, records, and verification processes.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze stock movements.
- Support ERP/software implementation and continuous improvements in store management systems.
- Release Purchase Requisitions (PR) and coordinate Purchase Orders (PO) for consumable and engineering materials.

Procurement & Vendor Management

- Develop and maintain vendor networks for machine spare parts, cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Evaluate supplier performance and support cost-saving initiatives.




- Verify supplier invoices and perform billing approval processes.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.

Tool Engineering & Technical Support

- Support selection, development, and optimization of cutting tools, inserts, and cutters.
- Conduct machining trials and process validation activities.
- Optimize machining parameters for improved productivity and enhanced tool life.
- Provide technical support to production teams regarding tooling solutions.
- Participate in troubleshooting tooling and machining-related issues.

Jig & Fixture Development

- Design and develop jigs and fixtures using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate fabrication, modification, and validation of jigs and fixtures.
- Ensure tooling solutions meet production and quality requirements.

Process Improvement & Compliance

- Revise and update SOPs as required.
- Lead qualification activities for current processes, equipment, and projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, inventory policies, and audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost reductions.
