Role & responsibilities

The Senior General Manager of Design & Development is responsible for the machine tool and auxiliary equipment designing, developing, validating, and continuously improving advanced machine tools including CNC Lathes, VMC, Milling, Grinding, Turning, Boring, Surface Grinding, and Axle Journal Turning & Burnishing machines. Work also includes development of Automated Machining Lines and auxiliary equipment's. The role is responsible for innovation, product development, engineering excellence, cost optimization, quality improvement, and timely development of current products as per project requirements for HYT Engineering

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in Machine Tool Design such as CNC Lathes, VMC, Turning Centers,



Boring Machines, Grinding Machines, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Automation, multi product, material selection, EU standards, Heat treatment & S Axis Machines etc.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, AutoCAD), GD&T;, DFMEA/PFMEA, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems, Material Selection, Railway Machinery etc.
- Ability to interpret Machine Tool Design, BOMs, technical specifications & Mechanical Design Engineering
- Minimum 25+ years in a leadership role Design & Development functions.
