Role / Job Title: Sales Manager Gold Loan
Function / Department: Gold Loan

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for driving the growth and distribution of Gold Loan business within the assigned territory by delivering customer-centric lending solutions in a cost-effective and technology-driven manner. The incumbent will work closely with Retail, Product, Operations, Liability, IT, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience while achieving business and portfolio growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify branches and potential locations for Gold Loan business through market surveys, competition mapping, and business volume analysis.
- Expand distribution by identifying non-branch channels for Gold Loan sourcing.
- Achieve monthly Gold Loan disbursement targets and ensure a high renewal rate from eligible customers.
- Recruit and manage Gold Loan Officers/Territory Managers to drive customer acquisition.
- Grow the Gold Loan portfolio while maintaining revenue, profitability, cost, and portfolio quality.




- Coordinate with product and business teams to provide the best funding solutions.
- Ensure timely renewal of existing Gold Loan customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with valuers and valuation agencies.
- Train Gold Loan teams on fraud awareness and prevention.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the lending journey.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities

- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Support policy and process enhancements across the business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage cross-functional synergies.

Managerial Responsibilities

- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team while ensuring controlled attrition.

Education: Any Graduate

Experience:

- 2–5 years of experience in BFSI.
- Experience in Gold Loan sales, secured lending, or branch banking will be preferred.
