Associate Manager - Underwriting

What are we looking for?

This role focuses on managing the distribution function of the underwriting department and ensuring efficiency in turnaround times (TAT).

What does the job entail?

- Core Underwriting: Oversee and perform core underwriting functions.
- Team Management: Manage the underwriting department's key deliverables, ensuring that quality standards are maintained while achieving monthly targets.
- Risk & Process Management: Implement effective risk management strategies and drive process improvements.
- Training & Development: Train and mentor the underwriting team.
- Turnaround Time (TAT): Efficiently manage the underwriting TAT for all current business and revival cases.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain and update underwriting guidelines to ensure they comply with company standards.

Work Experience

2-3 years of total work experience, preferably in the underwriting

process, with knowledge of the Life Asia system.

Essential Qualification

A bachelor's or postgraduate degree is essential.
