Role & Responsibilities

- Perform image-guided minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Perform vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures as per clinical requirements.
- Perform procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, embolization, drainage procedures, biopsies, and image-guided interventions.
- Evaluate patient history, imaging, laboratory results, and clinical findings before procedures.
- Review and interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, Doppler, and other relevant imaging studies.
- Plan appropriate interventional procedures and provide post-procedure care.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and manage procedure-related complications appropriately.
- Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, anesthetists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Explain procedures, risks, benefits, and treatment options to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation, medical records, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety,



infection-control, and hospital protocols.
- Participate in emergency/on-call interventional radiology services as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiodiagnosis.
- DM/MCh/DNB/FNB or equivalent fellowship/training in Interventional Radiology, as applicable.
- Valid registration with the relevant Medical Council.
- Experience in vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures preferred.
- Strong knowledge of image-guided procedures and radiological imaging.
- Positive clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
- Ability to manage emergency interventional procedures.
- Good communication and patient-counselling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality clinical care.
