Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Fertiliser Marketing Head to lead the go-to-market strategy for a new 1,000 TPD NPK (20:20:0:13)complex fertiliser plant, with a focus on Haryana and Punjab.

Key Responsibilities

- Candidate will be responsible for building and managing dealer/distributor networks across Haryana and Punjab.
- Candidate will be responsible for achieving primary and secondary sales targets and driving regional volume growth.
- Candidate will be responsible for developing regional marketing, demand-generation and brand-penetration strategies.
- Candidate will be responsible for farmer engagement, field demonstrations and crop-specific product positioning.
- Candidate will be responsible for monitoring competitor activity, pricing, market trends and dealer margins.
- Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with plant and supply-chain teams for demand forecasting and stock planning.
- Candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with fertiliser marketing regulations, NBS and applicable government norms.




- Candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with agriculture departments, cooperatives and key market stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

- Candidate should have graduate in B.Sc OR M.Sc Agriculture /Horticulture related to Agriculture field with 15 + years of experience in Agrochemical industry.
- Candidate should have strong experience in fertiliser/agri-input sales and marketing, preferably phosphatic/NPK products.
- Candidate should have a strong dealer/distributor network and in-depth knowledge of Haryana and Punjab markets.
- Candidate should have a proven track record of achieving volume and revenue growth.
- Candidate should be willing to undertake extensive regional travel and engage directly with dealers and farmers.
- Candidate should have a valuable understanding of NBS subsidy mechanisms and fertiliser regulatory requirements.
- Candidate should have strong negotiation, business development and relationship management skills.
