Job Description – Service Engineer

Location: Sanand, Gujarat

Position: Service Engineer – Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics

Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge and learning ability may also be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

- Attend field service calls and provide timely technical support.
- Provide breakdown support at customer sites.
- Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of:
- Resistance Welding Systems
- Tightening Systems / DC Nutrunner Systems
- Identify electrical and electronic faults and take appropriate corrective action.
- Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting using electrical tools and instruments.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain proper service records and report breakdown/service activities.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines while working at the plant.

Must-Have Skills:

- Good reading and writing skills.
- Fluent communication in Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
- Valuable learning capability and willingness to learn new technologies.




- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Should be familiar with basic electrical tools such as:
- Multimeter
- Screwdriver
- Tester
- Basic electrical/electronic hand tools
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer locations and handle breakdown situations.

Preferred / Value-Added Skills:

- Experience in Electrical / Electronics testing and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Resistance Welding Systems or DC Nutrunner/Tightening Systems will be preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive manufacturing plants will be an added advantage.
- Local candidates from Sanand/Ahmedabad with their own two-wheeler will be given preference.
- Candidates with a two-wheeler and valid driving licence will be considered an added advantage.
