Role Summary

The person is responsible for ensuring that all construction and installation activities are carried out safely without affecting the running pharmaceutical plant or endangering workers.

- Monitor site safety and ensure all workers follow safety rules.
- Identify hazards before work starts and implement preventive measures.
- Manage Permit to Work (PTW) for high-risk activities like hot work, confined space entry, work at height, excavation, and electrical isolation (LOTO).
- Conduct daily site inspections and correct unsafe conditions.
- Train contractors on safety procedures, PPE usage, and conduct toolbox talks.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with legal safety regulations, company policies, and pharma EHS/GMP standards.
