Purpose/Objective

"The job purpose of a Cluster Manager - Diffusion in cell process within solar manufacturing is to accelerate the adoption and integration of advanced cell processing technologies among solar companies.
This role involves strategizing, coordinating collaborations, managing resources efficiently, and advocating for policies that support innovation and industry growth.
The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability within the solar manufacturing sector.
Design DOEs for emitter layer, Junction performance enhancement, ECV profiling.
Circulate within team and complete tast within speacific time interval

Key Responsibilities of Role

Safety and Compliance: - Achieve zero fatalities, safety training for cell process employees, and reporting of unsafe acts/conditions.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations, conduct safety reviews, and implement preventive measures.
Optimization of Process Recipe: - Continuously optimize process recipes for the diffusion process to improve efficiency and quality.
Regularly review and adjust diffusion process recipes based on performance data and technological advancements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Business Performance Budget Targets: - Achieve cell efficiency, electrical rejection, and low efficiency targets.
Focus on improving efficiency by optimizing the diffusion process.
Technical Guidance and Troubleshooting: - Resolve complex process issues of the diffusion process within set timeframes.
Offer expert technical support to shift engineers, using advanced data analysis tools to troubleshoot deviations in the diffusion process.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: - Enhance diffusion process capability.
Focus on reducing defects and improving yield by optimizing the diffusion process.
Cell Performance Cost Reduction: - Achieve performance targets for cell efficiency and electrical rejection reduction.
Identify and implement process changes across the production line that enhance cell efficiency,



reduce defects, and improve yield, contributing to savings.
Documentation and Technical Reporting: - Submit line performance reports, including trial reports and analysis within deadlines.
Oversee the documentation of process activities, process records, and process checks to ensure traceability.
Prepare reports that provide insights into process performance and guide future optimization strategies.
Training and Capacity Building: - Increase skill proficiency of diffusion cluster members in advanced cell processes.
Organize targeted training programs and workshops to enhance skills and capabilities related to advanced cell processing among cluster members.
Monitoring and Evaluation: - Improve technology adoption assessment and evaluation.
Establish robust monitoring systems to track technology adoption rates and evaluate the effectiveness of diffusion strategies and interventions.
Team Leadership and Development: - Conduct training sessions for shift engineers and identify successors.
Mentor engineers on best practices and new technologies, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
Work Experience (Range of years): - 8-12 Years of proven experience in managing diffusion processes, overseeing process adherence, yield improvement projects, and cycle time reduction initiatives.
