Job Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at the project site.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, client requirements, and project safety standards.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Induction, and Safety Training for workers and site personnel.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and records.
- Monitor safety practices for activities such as excavation, scaffolding, lifting, work at height, electrical work, hot work, and confined spaces.
- Issue and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) as required for high-risk activities.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences and prepare reports.




- Recommend and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct emergency preparedness drills such as fire, evacuation, and rescue drills.
- Inspect fire extinguishers, firefighting equipment, first-aid facilities, scaffolding, ladders, lifting tools, and other safety equipment.
- Coordinate with project management and site teams to ensure safe execution of construction activities.
- Maintain records of safety statistics, inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and protected access/egress throughout the project site.
- Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Promote a strong safety culture among employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
