Role Overview

This is a full-time, onsite role located in Vadodara for a Senior Fashion Designer. The individual will take ownership of the design process from concept to execution, leading the creation of collections that reflect the brand's aesthetic vision and craftsmanship standards. Daily activities include conceptualizing designs, developing mood boards and sketches, selecting fabrics and embellishments, overseeing sampling and fittings, and coordinating closely with the pattern making, draping, and production teams. The candidate will also mentor junior designers, manage design timelines across multiple collections, and ensure every piece aligns with the brand's creative direction and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop bridal couture, occasion wear, and contemporary womenswear collections
- Create mood boards, sketches, and design concepts rooted in Indian textiles, embroidery, and trends
- Take designs from concept to finished garment — sampling, fittings, and final execution
- Coordinate with karigars, tailors, and embroidery units to ensure accurate production
- Review samples and finished garments for fit, quality, and design accuracy
- Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams on client and custom design requirements
- Mentor junior designers




- Uphold the brand's creative direction and luxury quality standards

Requirements

- Proven experience in fashion design, with a strong portfolio.
- Strong hand-sketching and digital design skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CLO 3D)
- In-depth understanding of garment construction, draping, and pattern-making principles
- Experience selecting fabrics, trims, and embellishments suited to couture and made-to-order pieces
- Strong eye for detail, proportion, color, and current fashion trends
- Ability to translate a creative brief or client requirement into a finished design
- Excellent coordination skills to work closely with karigars, pattern makers, and production teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (NIFT/NID preferred)
- Prior experience mentoring or leading a design team preferred
- Ability to manage multiple collections and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
