Job Summary
Seeking an experienced
Architect – Fire & Life Safety Consultant
to prepare, review and coordinate fire safety designs in compliance with
NFPA standards and local authority requirements . The role requires strong experience in FLS consultancy, authority submissions and coordination with clients and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Fire & Life Safety design concepts and detailed drawings.
Review architectural drawings for fire and life safety compliance.
Prepare
FLS drawings, reports and authority submissions .
Review building layouts, means of escape and fire-safety provisions.
Identify non-compliances and recommend code-compliant solutions.
Coordinate with authorities, consultants,
developers and contractors.
Attend technical meetings with clients and authorities.
Support projects from concept and design development through final approval.
Provide support during site inspections and final approvals.
Requirements
10+ years of relevant Fire & Life Safety consulting experience.
Robust knowledge of
NFPA standards .
Experience with authority submissions and approvals.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD ; Revit is an advantage.
Strong understanding of
building layouts, fire escape planning and life safety systems .
Previous Fire Safety Consultancy experience preferred.
