Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for embedded and AIoT-based products. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded C/C++, hardware interfacing, communication protocols, debugging, and IoT technologies.
- Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
- Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++.
- Work with microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, Arduino, AVR, PIC, or ARM-based controllers.
- Interface sensors, motors, displays, relays, communication modules, and other electronic peripherals.
- Work with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, RS-232, RS-485, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
- Develop and integrate IoT and AIoT-based embedded applications.
- Work with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, and MQTT.
- Develop firmware for real-time embedded applications.
- Work with RTOS/FreeRTOS for multitasking embedded applications.
- Perform board bring-up, firmware testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Read and understand electronic schematics, datasheets, pin diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Debug hardware and firmware using serial monitors, multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools.
- Optimize firmware for memory usage, processing speed, reliability, and power consumption.
- Perform firmware integration with sensors, actuators, motors, displays,
and communication modules.
- Identify and resolve hardware–software integration issues.
- Maintain proper technical documentation, source code, firmware versions, and testing records.
- Coordinate with hardware, mechanical, AI/IoT, and product development teams.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product deployment.
- Required Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Embedded C and C++
- ESP32 / STM32 / Arduino / ARM-based microcontrollers
- GPIO, ADC, PWM, Timers, Interrupts, Watchdog Timers
- UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, RS-485
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and BLE
- MQTT and IoT communication
- FreeRTOS / RTOS fundamentals
- Sensor and actuator interfacing
- Motor control and driver interfacing
- Firmware debugging and troubleshooting
- Git / Version Control
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and PCB schematics
- Preferred SkillsExperience in AIoT, Robotics, Automation, or IoT product development
- Knowledge of ESP-IDF, STM32CubeIDE, PlatformIO, Arduino IDE, or similar development environments
- Experience with cloud-connected embedded devices
- Knowledge of OTA firmware updates
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Familiarity with embedded Linux is an added advantage
- Experience in product prototyping and hardware testing is preferred
- Candidate ProfileStrong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good understanding of embedded hardware and firmware integration
- Ability to independently handle firmware development tasks
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a product development and R&D; environment
