Position: PYP Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) across the school.
- Ensure effective implementation of PYP philosophy, framework, and approaches to teaching and learning.
- Support teachers in unit planning, inquiry-based learning, assessment, and documentation .
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive academic feedback.
- Plan and facilitate PYP-related career development and teacher training .
- Coordinate curriculum planning and ensure alignment across grade levels.
- Support teachers in developing transdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Monitor student learning, assessment practices, and academic progress.




- Facilitate communication and collaboration among teachers, leadership, students, and parents.
- Ensure school practices remain aligned with IB standards and practices .
- Coordinate with the IB for programme requirements, evaluations, and documentation.
- Promote a culture of inquiry, reflection, collaboration, and lifelong learning .

Desired Profile:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- IB PYP experience is essential.
- PYP Coordinator / Leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
- Experience in teacher training and curriculum development preferred
