About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Validation & Migration Analyst to support a critical wholesale banking data modernization initiative involving the migration of a large-scale data mart from Teradata (On-Premises) to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery. The role requires deep expertise in data validation, SQL optimization, cloud migration testing, and data analytics to ensure the successful transition of business-critical data assets.

What You'll Do:

- Validate migrated data from On‑Prem RDBMS (Teradata) to GCP BigQuery;
- Develop and execute data validation scripts using python and SQL
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, lineage, auditability, and parity with Teradata outputs
- Optimize BigQuery performance for analytical workloads
- Support post‑migration validation and production sign‑off.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- BE/MBA/BCA/MCA or equivalent
- Strong Data Analytical skills
- Strong expertise in Google BigQuery & SQL
- Hands‑on experience with RDBMS platforms , preferably Teradata
- Advanced SQL and query optimization
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning
- Solid background of cloud migration projects for data validation and reconciliation
- Experience in Banking domain, regulatory or financial reporting environments is nice to have.
