Job Description – Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate books of accounts (ledger, journals, vouchers).

- Handle accounts payable and receivable.

- Prepare and verify balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.

- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.

- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory payments.

- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/Inter CA preferred).

- Proficiency in Tally, ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.

- Solid knowledge of taxation, GST, and compliance.

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
