We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support end-to-end business analysis for sports business systems applications. Working offshore alongside onshore stakeholders and delivery teams, the BA will own requirements from elicitation through to signed-off documentation, translating business needs into transparent artefacts that engineering and QA teams can build and test against.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end business analysis across the application lifecycle, from discovery to delivery support.
- Elicit and gather requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and review of existing systems and documentation.
- Analyse, challenge, and prioritise requirements; resolve gaps, conflicts, and ambiguities with the relevant business owners.
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation: BRDs, FRDs, user stories with acceptance criteria, traceability matrices, and change requests.
- Create as-is and to-be process diagrams and process flows.
- Develop wireframes and low-fidelity mock-ups to validate functional and UI requirements with stakeholders.
- Support UAT by defining test scenarios, assisting with test case reviews, and helping triage defects against requirements.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are correctly understood and implemented.
- Maintain version control and sign-off records for all analysis deliverables.
Mandatory skills
- Minimum 10 years' experience in business analysis (BA-titled or equivalent hands-on analysis roles — operations, QA, or project-coordination time does not count toward the floor).
- Strong documentation skills, with demonstrable examples of BRDs/FRDs, user stories, and requirement specifications.
- Requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Process modelling and diagramming, including as-is/to-be mapping.
- Wireframing / mock-up creation, with a named tool.
