Position Summary ( Expense & Revenue Lease)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting Consultant to implement, configure, and support the Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting module. This role focuses exclusively on lease accounting compliance with ASC 842, IFRS 16 standards, ensuring accurate recognition of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lease Accounting Configuration

Implement and configure Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting module (Revenue Lease)

Set up lease classification rules to distinguish operating and finance leases

Configure lease payment schedules including fixed, variable, and index-based payments

Define incremental borrowing rates and discount rate determination

Set up lease terms including renewal options, termination clauses, and purchase options

Having valuable hands-on experience on Accounts Receivables configuration (transaction type, source & Auto accounting rules).

Right-of-Use (ROU) Asset Management

Calculate and record ROU assets at lease commencement

Configure subsequent measurement and depreciation methods

Handle impairment testing and adjustments

Manage ROU asset integration with Fixed Assets module Lease Liability Management

Calculate lease liabilities using present value of lease payments

Configure effective interest method for liability amortisation

Process lease liability remeasurements and modifications

Handle lease reassessments triggered by significant events Lease Lifecycle Processing

Manage lease creation, activation,



and termination workflows

Process lease modifications including scope changes and term adjustments

Handle early terminations and lease extensions

Configure partial lease terminations and asset disposals

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with ASC 842, IFRS 16, and GASB 87 standards

Generate disclosure reports for financial statement requirements

Produce lease maturity analysis and rollforward schedules

Support period-end close activities and reconciliations

Maintain audit trails and documentation for lease transactions

Technical & Integration

Perform lease data migration from legacy systems or spreadsheets

Develop integrations with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and General Ledger

Configure sub-ledger accounting (SLA) rules for lease journal entries

Create reports using OTBI and BI Publisher

Set up approval workflows and security roles

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree, MBA, MCA & BE

Experience

4–7 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials

Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting module (

Expense & Revenue lease)

Experience with full implementation lifecycle

Background in lease administration or lease accounting functions

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting configuration

Proficiency in OTBI and BI Publisher reporting

Experience with FBDI for lease data migration

Understanding of SLA rules and GL integration

Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques
