Role Description The Senior UPS Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing UPS systems and related power equipment at customer locations. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, conducting site inspections, and preparing service reports. The engineer will provide on-site technical support, coordinate with internal teams and vendors for spare parts and escalations, and ensure that service visits meet safety and quality standards. The role also involves guiding junior technicians, communicating clearly with customers about issues and solutions,



and supporting continuous improvement of field service processes.
Qualifications

- Strong UPS and power systems expertise, including troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic and electrical components.
- Hands-on field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of UPS or related power equipment.
- Technical support capabilities, including handling service requests, remote guidance, and resolution of complex issues.
- Maintenance & repair skills, including preventive maintenance planning, component replacement, and adherence to safety standards.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting service activities, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in a senior or lead service role, with ability to mentor junior technicians and manage multiple service assignments.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices, relevant standards, and use of test instruments (multimeters, insulation testers, etc.).
- Ability to travel within the region for on-site service visits and work flexible hours when required.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, customer-focused attitude, and capacity to work independently in the field.
