Black & Grey HR is working with a leading contracting company in the Middle East that is hiring for its design studio in Bangalore. The Senior Architect will lead the design development and execution of commercial, corporate, hospitality and retail fit-out projects, from concept development through construction documentation and site delivery.
Lead concept design and design development for interior fit-out projects, ensuring functional, aesthetic and commercially viable solutions.
Prepare client presentations, mood boards, material palettes, space-planning layouts and design proposals; Translate approved concepts into complete schematic, design-development and Valuable for Construction (GFC) drawing packages.
Prepare and review architectural construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, joinery drawings and shop drawings.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, site teams, contractors and vendors to maintain design intent across all project stages.
Review material submissions, samples and mock-ups to confirm compliance with approved design, quality and project requirements.




Conduct site visits, resolve design-related site issues and support construction teams to ensure quality execution.
Ensure all documentation complies with applicable building codes, regulations, standards and project requirements.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
~5-8 years of architectural/interior design experience, with a strong portfolio of completed interior fit-out projects.
~ Experience with an interior fit-out contractor or design consultancy is strongly preferred.
~ Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and relevant architectural/design software.
~ Strong understanding of interior construction detailing, joinery, materials, BOQs, shop drawings and site coordination.
~ Knowledge of building codes, regulations and sustainable design practices.
~ Strong project-management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
