Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical/Product Design or related discipline)

Experience: 3–7 Years

Nilkamal Edge is looking for a talented Executive – Design (Healthcare) to join our Design & Development team.

n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design and develop cutting-edge healthcare products using SolidWorks .
n
- Create 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
n
- Perform design calculations, feasibility studies, and material selection.
n
- Apply GD&T;, DFM, and DFA principles to optimize product design and manufacturability.
n
- Support prototype development, product testing, validation, and production handover.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Sales to ensure successful product development.
n
- Maintain PLM documentation and process SKU/code creation.
n




- Support product costing, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Review customer specifications and tender requirements to recommend effective technical solutions.
n

Desired Candidate Profile

n

✔️ 3–7 years of experience in Mechanical/Product Design and Development.

n

✔️ Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory).

n

✔️ Experience in preparing manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

n

✔️ Working knowledge of GD&T;, DFM, DFA , and product validation processes.

n

✔️ Experience in medical furniture, healthcare equipment, modular furniture, office furniture, or manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
