We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our team in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India. This role is ideal for new graduates or those with up to six years of experience who are passionate about digestive health and wish to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose Conditions: Assess patients through consultations and diagnostic tests to identify conditions related to the digestive system, including esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
- Provide Treatment: Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, which may include medication, lifestyle changes, or referrals to surgeons for procedures.
- Perform Procedures: Conduct essential procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies to investigate digestive health concerns and provide interventions.
- Educate Patients: Inform patients about their conditions and treatment options, helping them understand how to manage their health effectively.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other medical professionals, including nurses and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates should possess a Doctorate or PhD in Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology and relevant clinical experience. Strong diagnostic skills and a compassionate approach to patient interactions are crucial.
