Key responsibilities:
Observing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, and updating medical charts.
Being the first responder to medical emergencies, providing immediate care, and stabilizing patients before senior staff arrive.
Performing examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Conducting routine procedures and assisting in complex ones.
Regularly checking on in-patients to monitor their progress and discuss their care with the medical team.
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including histories, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Acting as a liaison between patients, their families, nurses, and senior consultants.
Assisting with patient admissions and discharges, and coordinating with other hospital staff and departments.
Ensuring that all patient care and hospital operations comply with established protocols, regulations, and standards.
